  • This audit is designed to provide a method to review risks in the workplace and support the University in maintaining a safe work environment. If you have any difficulties using this form, please contact Infrastructure and Facility Services.

  • Step 1: Advise the Faculty/School about the inspection so that they may inform staff in their area of the upcoming inspection.

  • Step 2: Complete inspection findings in the following sections

  • Step 3: Save a copy of the Audit and forward a copy to your safety committee representative, manager or relevant Health and Safety team member.

  • Are stored items easily accessible without the need for over reaching or use of ladders?

  • Are any chemicals signed/labelled and stored appropriately?

  • Are Safety Data Sheets available for chemical substances?
