Prior to Aircraft Loading

1. General Duties

  • 1.1 Leading Hand/Delegate obtained initial LIR.

  • 1.2 Team briefed on all outbound load requirements and any special loads.

  • 1.3 Serviceable GSE on bay.

  • 1.4 Ramp Staff on bay in a timely manner to prepare for departure.

  • 1.5 Leading Hand/Delegate possesses a Departures Checklist.

  • 1.6 PPE worn in accordance with SOPs.

Aircraft Loading

2. Freight

  • 2.1 Barrow tarps used in inclement weather.

  • 2.2 Freight delivered to designated area on time in accordance with SOPs for aircraft type.<br>

  • 2.3 Freight presented on barrows/ULDs in accordance with SOPs<br>(e.g. segregation, appropriate packaging/ULD serviceable).<br>

  • 2.4 General freight consignment reconciled against LIR and barrow/ULD card.

  • 2.5 Special freight segregated and correctly loaded into aircraft as per LIR.<br>(e.g. orientation, positioning and restrained).<br>

  • 2.6 Barrow/ULD cards correctly completed <br>(e.g. date, destination, flight number and DG card used for Dangerous Goods).<br>

  • 2.7 Dangerous Goods consignments reconciled against NOTOC and LIR.

  • 2.8 Dangerous Goods loaded in accordance with SOPs <br>(e.g. not damaged, orientation and correct labelling).<br>

  • 2.9 Roller loading panels used in accordance with SOPs.

  • 2.10 If freight was off-loaded, was it communicated to LOCO and reflected on final loadsheet<br>(Freight off-load report completed).<br>

3. General Turnaround Duties

  • 3.1 Barrow tarps used in inclement weather.

  • 3.2 Ramp Staff enter and exit the hold correctly in accordance with SOPs.

  • 3.3 Minimum number of Ramp Staff in hold to safely load aircraft.

  • 3.4 Crew baggage counted and tag details checked.

  • 3.5 Waste tank servicing and potable water completed in accordance with relevant SOPs.

  • 3.6 Catering operated in accordance with relevant SOPs.

  • Departure Time:

  • 3.7 Refuelling operated in accordance with relevant SOPs.

  • Departure Time:

  • 3.8 Cleaners operated in accordance with relevant SOPs.

  • Departure Time:

  • 3.9 General baggage/ULDs loaded into aircraft in accordance with SOPs and as per LIR<br>(e.g. tags/labels checked, maximum height indicator line, ULD locks/latches raised).<br>

  • 3.10 Priority/Conx baggage and restricted items segregated and loaded as per LIR.

  • 3.11 Webbing secured/power to holds switched off/sliding carpet retracted in accordance with SOPs.

  • 3.12 Final bag count confirmed by Leading Hand (Inc. bingo sheets collected).

  • 3.13 Final deadload correctly communicated to AMCO.

  • 3.14 Final documentation checked before signing (Final LIR/LS/NOTOC).

  • 3.15 Any LMCs communicated to captain and final load communicated to LOCO.

Aircraft Departure

4. Guest Boarding

  • 4.1 Autoboard commenced on time, if not, what time did boarding start?

  • Time:

  • 4.2 Aircraft rubbish collected from base of stairs before boarding commenced.

  • 4.3 Marshaller positioned and equipment used correctly in accordance with SOPs (e.g. flag bins).

  • 4.4 Correct DPL procedures used for SSR boarding.

5. Door Closure

  • 5.1 Guest door closure communicated with cabin crew.

  • 5.2 Guest/cargo doors closed correctly in accordance with SOPs for aircraft type<br>and checked for damage.<br>

Aircraft Unloading

6. GSE

  • 6.1 GSE operated correctly in accordance with SOPs (e.g. clearances checked and monitored).

  • 6.2 GSE removed correctly in accordance with SOPs (e.g. correctly marshalled).

7. Aircraft Dispatch

  • 7.1 Aircraft dispatcher positioned at aircraft -10 ETD to perform duties <br>(e.g. FOD check, pushback tug and towbar connected, door/panel check completed).<br>

  • 7.2 Correct dispatch procedure followed for aircraft dispatch (e.g. freestanding/pushback).

  • 7.3 Correct procedure followed by pushback driver (e.g. pushback/CPT procedures).

Post Departure

8. General Duties

  • 8.1 Delay reason given to AMCO for any delays on departure.

  • 8.2 All GSE secured and stored behind Minimum Equipment Lines.

  • 8.3 Ramp Staff remain at gate until aircraft dispatch (Off blocks).

  • 8.4 Leading Hand/Delegate completed and files all relevant documentation <br>(Including relevant flight file documents, maintenance log faxed if required).<br>
