Safety

  • No smoking sticker and smoke alarm sticker installed - report smoke alarm if beeping - test if outside curfew hours

Cleaning Bedroom

  • Bedroom floor cleaned including under bed, nooks and under desk

  • Bedroom walls are cleaned of hand prints and other marks.

  • Wipe exterior of fridge and bench tops

  • Inside of wardrobes, drawers cleaned out.

  • High level dusting and wipe down of all shelves, cupboards and benches

  • Wipe interior of fridge and defrost freezer if required

  • remove and clean light covers as required

  • Indoor / outdoor chairs have been wiped over, are in good condition and stable.

  • Wipe all surfaces including window ledges

  • Remove cobwebs and mould marks on walls ceilings and tiles

  • Dust smoke detector / shelves as required

  • Light switches / door handles and cupboards are clean

  • Empty rubbish bin and replace liner

Cleaning Bathroom

  • Toilet clean including S bend and seat

  • Change or scrub toilet seat if required - report if unsecure. Toilet full flush and half flush both working OK.

  • Shower recess, screen and soap holders clean

  • Change or scrub shower rose if required

  • Bathroom storage areas cleaned out (cabinets / cupboards)

  • Plug supplied / working

  • Laundry equipment and filters clean - powder supplied

  • Hand basins and mirrors are disinfected, wiped clean and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness in a stain free and polished condition

  • Bathroom floors cleaned including edges and nooks

  • Bathroom walls and ceiling clean and marks removed

Cleaning Outside

  • Room entry door is cleaned on both sides and any stickers / tape has been removed.

  • Sweep verandas and pathways as required inclusive of cob webbing - dust handrails and sweep / clean deck in front veranda rooms.

  • External screen wiped clean

  • Clean litter outside the room including car spaces, paths and garden areas in a radius of 5 meters from the front door.

  • Ashtrays emptied if required

Maintenance

  • Chairs and cupboards are in working order

  • Doors swing freely, doors open easily and door handles work well

  • Lights all working

  • Extractor fan working and free of dust

  • TV and A/C remote located - remotes are clean and TV screen is wiped over as required so the picture is clear.

  • Damage in room /missing items reported

  • Air conditioners that obviously need washing out are reported
