WorkSafe BC - Level 1 First Aid Kit Contents

  • These items must be kept clean, dry, and complete and must be readily accessible and ready to take to the scene of an accident. A weatherproof container is recommended for all items. Blankets should be readily available to the first aid attendant. High-vis vest & reflective cones/triangle should be readily available in the event of an incident occurring on a roadway.

    Table 5: This table applies to a workplace that an employer determines under section 3.16 (2)(b) of the
    Regulation creates a high risk of injury and that is more than 20 minutes surface travel time away from
    a hospital. Requirement = a personal kit for only one worker. However, a vehicle can hold as many as
    five thus requiring a Level 1 First Aid Kit.
