1) Car park

  • 1.1 Is the car park surface maintained to minimise slip and trip risks?

5) Gas safety

  • 5.1 If fixed gas appliances are available for use, eg boiler, cooker, water heater, are arrangements in place for periodic examinations and any remedial action by a Gas Safe registered engineer?

  • 5.2 If mobile gas appliances are available for use, eg heaters fuelled by bottled gas, are arrangements in place for periodic examinations and any remedial action by a competent person in place?

6) Fire precautions

  • 6.1 Is there a fire risk assessment for the venue and is it up-to-date?

  • 6.2 Are all fire escape routes/exits clearly marked and free from obstructions?

  • 6.3 Is the fire alarm tested regularly?

  • 6.4 Are fire notices displayed including an assembly point?

7) Accidents and First Aid

  • 8.2 Is there a supply of hot and cold running water with soap and hand drying facilities?

  • 8.3 Are there sufficient toilet facilities for men and women including disabled people?

  • 8.4 Are toilet facilities well ventilated, cleaned and restocked with paper, soap and hand drying facilities?
