  • Is deck clear of trash and debris that might be blown or washed overboard?

  • Are all materials on deck stored to minimize the likelihood that they could be blown overboard, washed away, or dissolve after contact with water washing on deck? Inspect exposed raw materials

  • Are all oils or visible pollutants stored properly to ensure they do not discharge off the deck?

  • Are toxic and hazardous materials properly stowed in protected areas of the vessel?

  • Are fuel vents secure and properly contained to prevent overboard discharge?

  • Are containments kept dry and clean to prevent overboard discharge?

  • Has the water around and behind the vessel been visually monitored for visible sheens, dust, chemicals, abnormal discoloration, foaming or other indication of pollutants originating from the vessel?<br><br>If any are visible select "No" and indicate what is observed. Include a photo

  • Is the deck free of all runoff?<br><br>Include storm water runoff if applicable. Check around the barge for any potential runoff sources.
