  • Are tools or desk implements stored adequately in an orderly manner ?

  • Are shelves in the area clearly sorted & organised ?

  • No razor blades, snap-off knives, or box cutters work area unless kept n safe receptacle.

  • Floors, walls, ceilings & doors in good repair. ?<br>

  • Workbench & paking station kept in a clean and orderly state.

  • Is there evidence of food or beverage consumption (water acceptable) ?

  • Are electrical & data cables located in a clean orderly condition, without the risk of tangles to personnel or plant ?

  • Are trash bins managed and not overflowing ?

  • All floor/wall joints have been inspected to determine any means of ingress for rodents; deficient joints are repaired and sealed to prevent infestation.

External Warehouse, Yard & Canopy Zone.

  • Adequate clean up after Maintenance is performed.

  • Pallets kept clean and in good repair.

  • Dump Bins must be properly maintained and not overflowing.

  • Check for chipping, flaking, or peeling paint.

  • All temporary maintenance repairs must be replaced with a permanent repair within a reasonable amount of time.

  • Traps are being inspected and cleaned on a weekly basis; damaged traps are replaced; results of inspection are recorded in log.

  • All floor/wall joints have been inspected to determine any means of ingress rodents; deficient joints are repaired and holes sealed to prevent infestation.

  • Pallets are kept clean and in good repair.

Warehouse Materials Handling Equipment Inspection.

  • Are all forklifts in a fully operational condition ?<br><br>NOTE<br>If any machine is out of service, please record the specific reason &/or fault that has deemed the unit to be out of service.

  • Are forklifts in a clean and tidy condition ?

  • Check for oil leaks on forklifts and pallet jacks.

  • Grease smears and excess lubricant promptly removed from equipment.

  • Adequate clean up after maintenance is performed.

  • All temporary maintenance repairs must be replaced with a permanent repair within a reasonable amount of time.

  • Equipment not in use should be properly stored out of thoroughfares and operational areas.

  • No razor blades, snap –off knives, or box cutters or knives left exposed to potentially cause harm to operators ?<br>

Warehouse Administrative & Documentation Inspection.

  • Adequate quick reference and filing systems in plac and maintainclean up after maintenance is performed.

  • Pick sheets, despatch documentation, &/or inwards goods GRAs processed and filed in according folders.<br>

Exterior and Grounds

  • Bait Stations (inspect 3 of them)—Make sure the stations are securely attached to the cinder block base; Make sure the bait is attached to wire holder inside the station.

  • No grass or weeds growing next to the buildings which would promote pest harborage

  • All external doors to remain locked from the outside. The exceptions are the front office door and the employee entrance.

  • Check for compromised building fittings, gates, fences or maintenance issues related to the building structure or grounds.<br>Note<br>Comment and detail on any compromised findings.
