HAZARD RECOGNITION & SITE RULES

  • Obey all posted warning signs.

  • In case of an incident or injury, contact any Hycroft Mine employee or supervisor. They will arrange for the necessary emergency or medical assistance.

  • All accidents and injuries must be reported to the mine safety department.

  • All emergencies should be announced via radio through a Mayday, Mayday, Mayday call on radio Channel 1, 3 or 7.

  • A hard hat, steel toe shoes, safety glasses, and high visibility clothing must be always worn, in all locations, except inside offices.

  • All vehicles entering the mine site must be equipped with buggy whips, clearly identifiable marked with Company name or identification. Unless escorted at all times.

  • Observe all traffic and regulatory warning signs. During times of low visibility, always reduce speed and headlights on.

  • Mine equipment always have the right of way.

  • Use only designated routes. Do not park on haul roads. Do not drive over electrical wires or cables.

  • Stay clear of equipment work areas.

  • The Pit areas are classified as restricted areas. Authorized personnel only.

  • Plant areas are classified as restricted areas. Authorized personnel only.

  • Do not remove electrical or machinery lockout tags. Never energize or start a locked-out circuit or tagged out mobile equipment

  • NO eating, drinking, smoking, vaping, dipping, or chewing within plant areas or leach pads.

  • Only authorized personnel with permission may operate equipment.

  • A current list of all hazardous chemicals used, stored, or produced at the Hycroft Mine, including hazardous chemical waste, is available on the current Electronic Chemical Inventory System. Ask Safety professional for assistance.

  • Use secure hand holds when mounting and dismounting.

  • Parking Procedures: vehicles/equipment will be chocked or parked in a wheel ditch with the parking brake set.

  • Watch for debris and slipping/tripping hazards in walkways.

  • Cameras of any kind are not allowed on the mine site unless prior written consent is obtained.

  • Each time you enter and leave the mine you must sign the entry/exit log at security

  • Persons who do not hold current site hazard training must be escorted at all times when on site.

  • Alcohol, drugs, firearms, and pets are prohibited on the mine site.

  • Become familiar with locations of emergency exits/muster points for each building you enter.

  • Site speed limits are as follows: 5 MPH around any parking lot or ready line 15 MPH around buildings, offices, shops, or yards 25 MPH on mine roads and in open pit areas.

  • Maintain a minimum following distance of 200 feet from heavy mobile equipment.

  • Ensure positive radio communications with operators of heavy mobile equipment before approaching.
