  • 1st fix electrical items OK? (Provision made for required electrical systems, as per Door Schedule)

Post-checks

  • Operation OK? (Smooth action; latches easily; door flush with frame lining/doesn't protrude when closed; good weather seal)

  • Hardware OK? (All ironmongery as Door Schedule; ALL screws installed; hardware not under pressure when door closed; closer ensures weather seal; correct lock suite)

  • Features OK? (All plates, glazing, vents correctly installed and undamaged)

  • 2nd fix items OK? (Architraves, door stops, glazing beads tightly mitred, neat and installed correctly)

  • Signage OK? (Correct labels: fire exit, push bar to operate, etc)

  • Electrical/Alarm Systems OK? (All required systems installed, checked, tested, signed off - as per Door Schedule, etc.)

  • Flashings and sealants OK? (All flashings fitted and lapped correctly to form a weatherproof barrier ; joints and mitres neat, tight and well sealed. All required sealants applied, neat, tidy and forming weather seal.)

  • General condition OK? (No scratches or damage to door/frame face or arris; all fitting debris cleaned from channels, sills, weepholes)

  • Temporary protection OK? (In place to protect door during rest of project/adjacent work)
