  • Is the goods in area clean and tidy with all delivery notes filed away correctly?

  • Ensure all deliveries have been checked in and parts put into the correct job bay. All delivery notes should be filed away into the correct document tray. Clean away all rubbish around the goods in area.

  • Are all the goods in trolleys tidy, with items on the correct shelf with clearly labelled job numbers?

  • Ensure no parts are left on the floor. Clipboards to have job numbers clearly displayed (top half - top shelf/bottom half - bottom shelf)

  • Is the goods in entrance tidy?

  • Sweep the entrance and tidy away any rubbish

Storage Areas

  • Are all job bays/trolleys tidy with only the parts and materials for 1 job?

  • Job bays/trolleys should only have parts and materials associated with that job. 1 job per job bay/trolley. The job bay/trolley should have a clearly labelled job no. on the clipboard. Completed job bays should be cleared with unused parts recorded and handed to the design office. Unused parts should be returned to stores.

  • Is the container containing food safe materials/equipment in unit 309 tidy?

  • Ensure shelfs are tidy and no parts are left loose on the floor

  • Are all ladders stores in unit 309 present and locked up?

  • All ladders should be chained up and locked with a padlock. Key to be stored in the key cupboard

  • Is the racking in unit 309 correctly/neatly stacked?

  • Pallets should be loaded correctly and contained within the pallet area. Check to make sure loaded square onto the racking and racking is not over filled.

  • Check racking in unit 309 for damage

  • Check for signs of damage (i.e dents, damage to paint) and ensure beams are not bending with signs of weakness/failure
