6S Audit Assessment

  • A developed safety program consisting of policies/procedures exists but is not actively utilized.

  • Some clutter and unnecessary items. There are not unneeded pallets, shrink wrap, product. or corrugatd all slip sheets. pallets. brooms. dustpans. have permanent locations. e

  • There is some clutter. Some items are not clean and/or swept. Floors and/or waste containers are marginal.

  • Area moderately organized. Many key items have a designated location, but some do not, and some items are improperly stored. Equipment and aisles may not be clearly marked. There may be some visual controls in place, but more could be added.

  • There is a 6S schedule and checklist posted, and it seems to be followed. All required PM's have been performed and log is up to date. All metrics and charts in the area are current.

  • Shop supervision shows commitment to sustaining 6S
