  • Is the operator removing all labels from container before inserting finished goods?

  • Is the operator inspecting the inside of container to ensure container is free of dust and debris?

  • Is the operator inspecting the integrity of the container to ensure no damaged doors etc are present?

  • Are Packing Standards available at work stations and correct part number posted?

  • Are harnesses being gently removed and gently placed onto work station and inside FG container? (Note* Hands must surpass the container surface before releasing part)

Product Safety

  • Two hands must be used when removing parts and when placing parts from and into containers

Label Control

  • Are labels being removed from raw pallet before repack process begins?

  • Is the only label present at work station the label currently being used?

Process

  • Is the operator scanning barcodes at work station and never while in raw container or in FG container?

  • Is there segregation between raw and finished parts? (Never on the same pallet)

  • Operator using phone or any devices for text, call, etc?

  • One Piece Flow - Is the operator following one piece flow by completing a harness before next harness is began?

  • Is the operator following Stop/Call/Wait for any issues that arise?

  • Only one pallet of raw material and one pallet for finished goods at workstation at a time?

  • Parital Verify

  • Is the operator visually confirming source label quantity by looking at PC monitor as part is scanned?

  • Once a raw pallet is finished and parts remain, are the parts being counted/initialed by operator and then again by Supervisor? (Note: Supervisor must apply label to pallet or sign while on label)

Safety

  • Are the operators leaving hand trucks under pallet with handle turned 90 degrees to the left or right?

  • Fork tips on hand trucks must not stick out opposite side of container

  • Is the operator properly stacking boxes/skids/lids/etc?

  • Is station organized and free of clutter?

  • Are pallets placed inside the squares taped off to support the process?

  • Are any personal items located on the workstation?

  • Is operator stepping on or walking on any pallets, materials, etc?

  • Is operator pushing or pulling pallets or containers by hand without using hand truck?
