Electrical Safety

  • Is an RCD used at power points when 240 volt tools are used.

  • Are all electrical tools in use PAT tested and in date.<br>

  • Is there any sign of wear or cracks on casings and cables of all tools.

  • Are chargers and batteries in good condition.

  • Have relevant checks for cabling and pipe work been carried out before fixing to floors, walls and ceilings.

  • Is the method of cutting wood being carried out in a safe manner.

COSHH

  • Are only substances in use that are covered by COSHH assessment.

  • Does the Installer know how to use all of the substances safely.

  • Are dust masks and goggles used at the appropriate time when

Tools
