  • Is there a door greeter situated just inside the front door to welcome all customers, demonstrating product, and is this person knowledgeable on all promotions within the store?

  • Are all the team members in the store aware of the extended trading hours, Store performance, and all promotions/sale items in the store?

  • Are all promotions launched correctly per day (Stock grouped and highlighted with relevant signage) and in primary locations within the store?

  • Choose a sample of 10 items from the stockroom and check if they are represented on the sales floor (Apparel to be represented in the exact size chosen).

  • Check the OPC and scheduling for the store for the week leading up to Black Friday and rate compliance/adherence to the brief from OPS.

  • Check if the cash desk/checkout area has been optimized for Black Friday trade (Manual sales books available, Paper bags stocked up, Cashiers trained on the use of manual sales books)

  • Is the MPOS in use during offline situations or load-shedding and is it being charged if not in use?
