General Floor Cleaning and Mopping of Blow Mold Rooms

  • Dry sweep areas in blow mold around machines 1, 2 and 3

  • Dry sweep areas in blow mold around machines 4 and 5

  • Clean mop bucket and mop head (if used head) or (use new mop head) with hot water to remove oily residue from last use

  • Add clean hot water and Betco Ultra 2000 in a mix of 8 oz of Ultra 2000 to 1 gallon of hot water

  • Carefully move filled bucket to area you're going to mop and use attached mop wringer to get access water out of mop head

  • Mop the area using back and forth motion of the mop head to clean the floor

  • Make sure you mark the area with a Caution Cone or Caddy so that no one slips and falls while floor is still wet

  • Continue to mop between and around machines 1,2, and 3 first with the cleaning solution and rinse and wring out as often as you think is necessary

  • If water is dirty or oily please go to step 3 and repeat for machines 4 and 5 and Alpine floor

  • When all cleaning is complete, return the mop bucket and accessories to "Mops for Blow Mold" hanger location

  • Dump dirty water into trough drain and rinse it

  • Discard old mop head unless you think it's ok to use again (if it's black or gray throw it away into nearby trash)

  • Hang up mop handle and put bucket underneath the hanger location too
