Mobilization

  • Can we remain in this area for the duration of the project?

Delivery

  • Ensure that delivery of material is at the correct time for least amount of project mobilization. Encourage the use of carts that are provided by the fabricator. Ensure safety and well-being of delivery driver as they are under our care and custody on the job site (make sure they have and are wearing proper PPE and are not helping off-load pipe unless contractually obligated to help).

  • Is there a plan for accepting deliveries?

  • Do we have carts / forklifts / cartage to accept material?

  • Have deliveries been scheduled with the contractor?

Installation

  • Certify that the crews are using the safest efficient method of installation feasible. This can be accomplished through the correct use of tools, lifts/ladders, carts, accessories and best practices. This will also include an evaluation of crew mix to ensure it is the most effective for production and profitability.

  • Certify the projects are meeting the industry standard of hour per head installation. Evaluate a project and submit a task to complete to include labor hours to complete each task.

  • Each superintendent is assigned to pick a sister branch for purpose of sharing ideas and position issues. The branch is mirrored to closely to their branch operations.
