Dairy

  • Dairy products are rotating according to FIFO (make sure items are first in first out). {Points: 3.0}<br>

Frozen Grocery

  • Ice buildup is not present on PRODUCT in freezers on sales floors (look for any ice build up on product that could affect product packaging or cause slip and fall hazards). {Points: 3.0}<br>

Dry Grocery

  • Grocery department is following the RGC Banana Box Program. {Points: 5.0}<br>

  • A process is in place to review and control RGC (have Red Hero Reports posted and have a process in place to discuss how your controlling shrink). {Points: 5.0}

  • Dry Grocery rotation schedule is posted and initialed (with at least the previous 12 weeks properly signed). {Points: 2.0}

  • Out of dates are not present on the sales floor (Spot Check 1 UPC from 5 different sections from the previous 4 weeks of rotation schedule). {Points: 3.0}

  • Gondolas (top, shelves, underneath) are clean and free of debris (Verify gondolas are clean & free of debris, focus on the following: Rice, Pastas, Flour, Masa, Baking nuts, Pet food, and Bird food. Look specifically for moths and beetle activity. Verify that pegboards are clean and without signs of insect webbing). {Points: 3.0}<br><br>
