  • Pavement Cafe<br>Check the following for:<br>Floors<br>• All hard floor surfaces must be free from debris, clean, dry and free from stains, marks or dust.<br>• There must be no evidence of any accumulation of slurry of soap residues or other cleaning agents.<br>• Floors must be safe and not slippery. Some slight scuffing may be apparent, but the applied dressing must be complete and intact, without any evidence of powdering, discoloration or build-up.<br>• There must be no evidence of food, debris, grease or spillage's.<br>• All carpets, mats and mat wells must be free from visible debris. They must be clean and dry.<br> <br>Walls/Doors<br>• All walls, skirtings, dado rails, covings, radiators, pipes, vents, grilles, doors, kick plates, door frames, fittings, light switches, glass panels and sills must be free from debris, marks and dust.<br>• They must be clean and dry, with no evidence of residual cleaning agents.<br>• In particular, they must be free from finger marks, verdigris stains, runs and cobwebs.<br>• There must be no evidence of food, debris, grease or spillage's, and the surfaces should be disinfected.<br> <br>Furniture & Equipment<br>• All furniture, fittings and equipment must be free from debris, stains, marks and dust.<br>• They must be clean and dry, with no evidence of residual cleaning agents.<br>• In addition, they must be free from finger marks and smears.<br>• All accessible surfaces of water coolers, fountains and vending machines must be free from dust, soil, removable stains and food debris.<br>• There should be no evidence of grease or spillage's.<br>• Draining Boards, sinks, wash hand basins, taps, overflow outlets, chains, plugs, pipework and supports must be free from scum, grease, scale, dust, soil, spillage's and removable stains.<br>• Fridges must be cleaned inside weekly.<br> <br>Waste Bins<br>• Waste Bins must be empty, clean and dry inside and out and replaced in their original locations.<br>• All refuse to be removed to agreed disposal points.
