BUILDING REGULATIONS 2006 - PART 7 Division 1 - Existing swimming pools and spas This swimming pool/spa barrier safety audit applies to swimming pools and spas constructed, or which building approval (building permit) was granted before 8 April 1991. Please confirm approval date on the building permit document prior to proceeding with this audit.

  • IS THERE A SWIMMING POOL/SPA SAFETY BARRIER INSTALLED? <br><br>If yes, take overview photo(s) of barrier.<br><br>If no, take overview photo(s) of barrier; and <br><br>Issue an Emergency Order (s.102) to provide a compliant temporary barrier within 7 days; and<br><br>Issue a Building Order for Minor Work (s.113) to construct a permanent swimming pool/spa safety barrier after first obtaining a building permit. Building Order for Minor Work to remain in force until such a time that a Certificate of Final Inspection is issued for the permanent barrier. <br><br>Compliant temporary barrier is to remain in place until such a time that a Certificate of Final Inspection is issued for a permanent pool/spa safety barrier constructed under a valid building permit<br><br><br><br>
