Method Steps

  • 1. Reviews assignment fills out shipping label and proceeds to location without undue delay

  • 2. Operator travels to pick path in most direct route with forks at proper travel height

  • 3. Confirms location is correct and raises forks to needed height without undue hesitation

  • 4. Obtains pallet and scans label confirming pallet selected is correct

  • 5. Enters case count and/or countback as directed by VMU

  • 6. Operator does a visual check of pallet to verify case quantities are correct, wrap and pallet are in good condition

  • 7. Operator places shipping label on pallet and scans label

  • 8. Wraps pallet if needed and follows appropriate procedures for missing / damaged cases

  • 9. Verifies pallet is shippable ready fully wrapped and labels applied

  • 10. Proceeds to designated staging area in direct route depositing pallet in the correct lane requested on VMU
