  • This checklist provides information to assist Quilpie Shire Council in reviewing contractors WH&S compliance with relevant legislation and contractual arrangements

  • Have all workers completed the QSC online induction?

  • Do all workers hold a Construction Induction White Card or equivalent?

  • Take a photo of some White Cards

  • Is a WHS Management Plan required & if so is a copy held on site? (Work $250,000 or more)

  • Has the contractor completed SWMS's where required? (High Risk Work)

  • Have Risk Assessments been completed?

  • Is there a Traffic Management Plan, TGS’s, and do signs meet AGTTM/MUTCD/QGTTM requirements?

  • Take photos of signage

  • Are barricades/bollards/cones erected around the work area?

  • Are Construction Site Signs, warning, advisory, emergency & mandatory signs onsite?

  • Is appropriate PPE available and being used and maintained correctly e.g? foot, ear , eye, head, hand & respiratory?

  • Are all items of plant fitted with flashing beacon visible from all directions?

  • Are fuel trailers earth bunded where required?

  • If the contractor is using a hazardous material is a SDS and relevant risk assessment available?

  • Are work areas tidy?

  • Are all plant registration & Insurance current?

  • IF possible use QLD Registration App to check some registration plates numbers.

  • Add photos of some plant

  • Are all Environmental/Cultural Heritage requirements being adhered to?

  • Are there any other noticeable Hazards?

  • Add photos of Hazards

  • Have the noticeable Hazards been eliminated?
