The interior of panels etc should be free from dust or moisture

Ensure all internal equipment is clearly identified

Check contactors and connections for signs of overheating

Check that incoming terminals are shrouded

Ensure that all shrouds and terminal shields are in place

Ensure that all cables in panels are loomed, or contained within trunking with lids fitted

Ensure blanking plates are fitted where necessary

Ensure glands and shrouds are in good order

Ensure all covers are fitted, in good order and secure, and that seals are efficient

Ensure identification labels are fitted and correct

Ensure enclosure is not corroded and is fit for purpose

Ensure that any redundant electrical equipment has been removed or properly labelled. Open ended redundant cables shall be capped off or removed
