  • Item I.D

  • The interior of panels etc should be free from dust or moisture

  • Ensure all internal equipment is clearly identified

  • Check contactors and connections for signs of overheating

  • Check that incoming terminals are shrouded

  • Ensure that all shrouds and terminal shields are in place

  • Ensure that all cables in panels are loomed, or contained within trunking with lids fitted

  • Ensure blanking plates are fitted where necessary

  • Ensure glands and shrouds are in good order

  • Ensure all covers are fitted, in good order and secure, and that seals are efficient

  • Ensure identification labels are fitted and correct

  • Ensure enclosure is not corroded and is fit for purpose

  • Ensure that any redundant electrical equipment has been removed or properly labelled. Open ended redundant cables shall be capped off or removed
