Checklist

  • Crane Inspected

  • Is the rated load marked on each side of the crane?

  • Is the rated load marked on each side of the hoist or its load block and this marking is clearly legible from the ground?

  • Are stops and bumpers installed securely at both limits of the trolley's travel?

  • Are bridge bumpers present on the crane structure?

  • Are guards for hoisting ropes and moving parts installed?

  • Has the holding brake of the hoist been tested and confirmed to be fully operational?

  • Are there any signs of physical damage or exposed wires in the electrical system?

  • Verified proper function, no interference, and correct clearance of mechanisms:

  • No deformation and cracks on hooks

  • Inspect hoist chain or rope, including end connections for excessive wear, twist, distorted links interfering with proper function, or stretch beyond manufacturer's recommendations

  • No corroded, deformed and cracked structural members

  • No abnormal noise during testing

  • The upper limit switch of each hoist shall be tried out under no load. The block shall be "inched" into the limit or run in at slow speed

  • The controller is not damaged and clean

  • All the inputs of the controller are working correctly
