Sauna

  • It is the responsibility of the person switching on the sauna to ensure it is in a safe working condition. If any of the following are found to be at fault then the sauna should not be turned on until the problem has been fully rectified - 20/20 - 100%

  • Have the working lights in the saunas been turned off?

  • Both sauna switches on?

  • Carry out visual inspection of sauna. Ensure there are no flammable objects inside sauna.

  • Check the wood for signs of excessive scorching

  • Check walls and benches for loose fixtures or fittings

  • Check benches are securely fixed and supports are in good condition

  • Check sauna signage is present and securely fixed to the wall

  • Check the sauna is clean

  • Check door is operating freely and that the handle and hinges are fixed securely

  • Check that sauna has been switched on and that the temperature is set correctly.
