Any developing sensation experienced during the period of works must be reported immediately by operatives to the site manager / supervisor, who is required to inform the H&S Advisor. Operatives are to be reminded of the following:

This document is to be used as a tool for both monitoring and controlling operations. The intention is not to check all operatives every day, but to check a percentage of the workforce on a regular basis, particularly those operatives who are frequently exposed. Vibration magnitudes can be obtained from the manufacturers own information provided in the tool/plant manual or online. The HSE ready reckoner and exposure calculator tools should be used to form the Exposure Action Value [EAV] and Exposure Limit Value [ELV] to give the A (8) daily exposure
