Inbounding

Inbounding

  • Is Inbounding done at MU Level for Non-Bulky Packages?

  • Is Inbounding done at Package Level for Bulky Packages?

  • In case of 3PL LH, receiving is given on a physical manifest to 3PL driver and email acknowledgement is given to relevant SC

  • In case of any damaged package the package is sent back to respective sort Center and email is sent for the damaged packages

  • In case of dual address, LM hub will transfer the package to relevant hub via LH. Email is sent to the relevant LM Hub and SC

Package Handling- Inbound

  • Boxes/carton/package/MUs is not kept on floor(MUs should be placed on pallets and semi bulky and bulky packages should be kept on mats or pallets)

  • Boxes are stacked in such a way that they don’t fall off due to imbalance with proper weight distribution

  • Fragile packages must be kept separately & according to the correct orientation.(Fragile packages should be kept as per the direction of the arrow defined on the fragile labeling, stacking should not be more than 2, and should not be stacked below a bulky fragile parcel)

  • No throwing of any sort of package into trolley/carton from distance.

  • Sack bags/Fabric Bags are not dragged on the floor. ( Sack bags/fabric bags Containing parcels should be transferred from one point to another Via a trolley or a pallet lifter)

  • MU's are being stacked on pallets properly with no threat of falling down.

  • MU are placed based on L3.8 level sorting? i.e. Chute

Outbound

Outbound - Hero Questionnaire

  • At the time of exit, physical packages are checked against the RS to check for any extra or shortage of packages.

  • Dex hero checks out his RS at the start of his delivery run?

Delivery

  • In case of a COD order, cash is collected before handing over the packages ?

  • In case of a (Non-COD) order, customer name,and Signature are taken on LEX App as E-POD if customer themselves receive the package.

  • In case of a (NON-COD) order, customer name, signature, CNIC 4 digits, and relation of recepient are taken on LEX App as EPOD if someone else receives the package on behalf of customer.

  • Is Rider sending amber alert?

  • If a customer rejects the package or is not available, package is marked as delivery failed and brought back to the LM hub

Control Tower

  • In case of open reject, LM hub sends an email to sort notifying them of the case

  • Failed delivery reasons are being maintained.

  • IVR hold reject and reschedule bins are correctly labelled

  • Correct packages are being put into the IVR Hold reject and reschedule bins

  • Reject tape is pasted on the Reject packages before sending it to relevant SC.

Cash Handling

  • Cash officer closes DH RS after reconciling it with the cash received

  • Cash officer will reconcile cash with delivery run sheet and check the amount against the packages delivered.

  • Cash officer scans all the COD packages and updates them on LOP

RS Closure

  • Are Runsheets closed on the same day

  • Are correct FD reasons selected by the DH

  • Is the Dex Hero App utilized properly

Customer Return

  • CR Amber Alert is Sent before going for the package pick up

  • All manual calls are being made through VPABX

  • Pickup hero calls the customer before picking the requested return parcel

Reverse Process

  • Packages are sorted as per dropoff location and MUs are created with respect to the dropoff location.

  • FD packages are sent from the LM hubs to the SC, within 48 hours

  • Receiving is taken on count of MUs on the transfer letter from the LH driver

  • In case of LM (Same Facility), packages are handed over to SC in trolleys/pallets. Receiving is given on email containing Mu# and TN

  • Ghost tool is being used and maintained in order to select the node where the package has to be moved back to.
