  • Whip checks and osha valves on air hoses

  • Engine oil hydraulic oil and engine coolant and Phill to proper level be sure all filter caps are on tight and in place

  • Engine drive belts adjust tension as required

  • All sliding, pivot and rotation points are properly greased

  • All worn, broken, missing or damaged parts are removed or repaired check frame welds for cracks contact Schnabel equipment immediately

  • Oil leaks. Report any engine oil loss immediately to Schnabel equipment

  • Engine does not have excessive oil gain and discoloration. report to Schnabel equipment immediately (engine and hydraulic)

  • Casing breaker is free of broken or loose jaws, teeth and hoses. Repair as needed

  • Rotary head slides, wipers and feed chain are free of excessive wear. Keep clean and replace as needed

  • Engine radiator and hydraulic oil cooler are free of blockages. Clean as needed

  • Machine is free of broken, loose or missing bolts. Replace as needed

  • All emergency stop controls are functioning properly. Do not operate equipment if not working properly. Contact Schnabel equiptment immediately

  • Engine air filter housing is free of damage or missing parts. Air intake hoses are free of damage and loose clamps. Tighten clamps and replace all damaged parts. Do not operate until repairs are made

  • Wiring is free of worn insulation or damaged wiring. Repair as needed

  • Engine and hydraulic oil temperature is functioning normally. Indicators may vary with machine. Report to Schnabel equipment any excessive heat indicated discontinue operating and repair

  • Casing breaker and front chain idler are clean and greased

  • Engine display monitor is functioning properly. Report to Schnabel equipment any fault codes

  • Engine is free of excessive engine exhaust smoke or loss of power. Report to Schnabel equipment any change

  • Hydraulic hammer and all fittings on hammer gearbox are greased every two hours of operation. Use Lubrplate 930AA only

  • Machine is free of grout and dirt buildup and away from breather and filler caps

  • Drain or winterize the gamma pump drilling cold weather. Flush with RV type anyfreeze. Check gamma pump oil fill as needed

  • When not in use turn ignition key off position. Remove ignition key, turn main power switch to off position. Lock all access panels and doors.
