Food Inspector I.R. Infrared thermometers calibration

  • Accuracy Required for NIST Certified thermometer: 0°C ± 1°C

  • NIST Certified Thermometer once calibrated can be used to verify the accuracy of other handheld thermometers and the cooler and freezer thermometers. To verify accuracy, measure the temperature in the cooler and freezer using the NIST certified thermometer and verify that the cooler/freezer thermometer is reading within 1°C.
