The fire alarm system has activated, 10th Floor. Describe what action you would take. (Trainer will give further information when required as follows: When Officer checks panel, will be informed of a Single smoke head, in zone “x”.) After 4 minutes the Seek & Search Officer confirms – NO FIRE

Points that should be considered/mentioned by person undertaking training Level of knowledge 1 to 10 . One being the lowest.

• Press acknowledge on the fire panel

• Check fire panel for location and type of activation

• Dispatch Seek & Search Officer(s)

• Use / Operation of firefighting lifts – (trainer to check)

• Inform all necessary persons informed.

• Prepare to evacuate

• Ensure first aid kits available

• Ensure grab bags available and ready

• Search Officer confirms – NO FIRE… silence and rest the system

• Can fully operate and understand the fire panel, including silence & reset.

• Daily Occurrence Book fully completed

• Full incident reports are compiled

• Notes of any further action required
