You have been informed that a rucksack has been left in the Nova North Reception seating area. There is no-one in the immediate area and it is unsure how long the bag has been there.

Points that should be considered/mentioned by person undertaking training Level of knowledge 1 to 10 . One being the lowest.

• Check for any external signs of ownership, question receptionist, double check toilets

• 5 C’s Actions during each step of the 5C’s

• Call Control to notify and review CCTV

• Select from range

• Radio safe distance

• Cordon safe distance

• Contact emergency services

• Inform all necessary staff.

• Select from range

• Control to ensure first aid kits and grab bags available

• Ensure that all details of the emergency services are taken – Officer in charge / station

• Ensure that any necessary photographs and evidence is preserved

• Daily Occurrence Book fully completed

• Full incident reports / paperwork is compiled

• Notes of any further action required
