  • Door central and parallel with the frame,

  • Door frame free from damage

  • Frame secure and frame fully sealed

  • Signage fitted and visible, flat number etc

  • Gap between door and frame 3mm/4mm or less

  • Intumescent seals in place without any damage

  • Intumescent seals around the glass

  • Glass must be fire resistant with a kite mark

  • Suitable steel hinges and screws fitted free from wear

  • Door closure fitted and functioning correctly

  • Door must close correctly into the frame from any angle

  • Door lock and thumb lock fitted and working correctly

  • Gap below the door is less than 8mm

  • If there is a hold open device fitted,does it work correctly and release on alarm activation

  • Detail below all communal fire doors which ARE in safe/ correct working condition

  • Detail below all communal fire doors which are NOT in safe/correct working condition.

  • Please list all defects along with photographic evidence.

  • Detail below all flat and communal fire doors unable to be inspected
