  • This Fresh Audit has been designed to enable Management to determine their stores readiness to tackle the busiest times of the day. Stores spend time in the morning getting ready and then Department Managers generally leave mid afternoon. Some of us are fortunate to have good backups to keep the department up to standard others don't and then the departments tend to fail as the busiest time of day approaches.

For your information the days trade looks something like this:

No 1 trading time of day: 5pm until 6pm
    2nd: 4-5
    3rd: 3-4
    4th: 6-7
    5th: 2-3
    6th: 12-1

These figures are for one week including all stores. Obviously it may be slightly different in different stores. As you can see our busiest times are after school. This audit will have you check some of the areas that need to be addressed before the busy times.

Instructions: To be completed daily and emailed between 9-10am and again at 130-230PM. For each question you answer 'NO'
you must take one photo of each display cabinet, ie 2 photos if there are 2 sides of the meat case. The photo must be from close enough to see moderate detail of the presentation and fullness of each case.

Outcome: That management is out on the floor determining the readiness of their stores. This will either lead to early preparedness or getting those areas sorted out at the time of the check.
