Have area inspections been completed by area owner?
Have all actions from previous work area inspections been closed?
Does the work area adequately manage stormwater from entering potentially contaminated areas?
Does the work area retain potentially contaminated stormwater for treatment?
Is the area free of spills?
Does the work area have sufficient stocked still kits?
Is there evidence of correct waste segregation?
Hydrocarbon and chemical storage
Are hydrocarbons and chemicals stored appropriately in cabinets or on adequate bunds with jetting protection?
Does the area have bunding?
Is the bund in good condition with bund valve closed and locked?
Are bunds appropriately designed to Australian and Rio Tinto Standards?
Are bunds free of vegetation, rubbish or items which may reduce its capacity?
Is liquid resulting from spills or leaks recovered as soon as practicable?

Is fauna egress matting installed in ponds and in good condition?
Bulk hydrocarbon tank storage facility
Does the area manage bulk hydrocarbon storage tanks?
Is the bund in suitable condition, free of cracks and defects?
Is a the bund sized appropriately for the storage requirements?
Is the volume of the bund maintained?
Is the area free of spills and leaks?
Are pumps in good working order?
