JOB SITE TRAILER INSPECTION

1. JOB SITE TRAILER INSPECTION:

  • Are you doing a job site trailer inspection?

  • 1.1. When entering the job site are the roads clean and clear of trash and mud?

  • 1.2. Is the VTC clear and free of mud?

  • 1.3. Is all perimeter signage up and in good condition?

  • 1.4. Is exterior of job site trailer clean and signage installed?

  • 1.5. Is interior of job site trailer clean and orderly and presentable to owners?

  • 1.6. Are all job site posters posted? ( OSHA employee, OSHA 300 log etc ) ?

  • 1.7. Are construction plans currant and accessible to subcontractor? ( RFIs, ASIs, posted ) ?

  • 1.8. Is the first aid kit, blood borne pathogens kit, eye wash kit, ear plugs setup and accessible to JHL employees?

  • 1.9. Are all emergency numbers posted? Are maps for local emergency clinics/hospitals posted?

  • 1.10. Is the superintendent's office clean and orderly?

  • 1.11. Does the superintendent have documentation tracking ( RFIs, ASIs, Daily reports, Weekly Safety Audits etc ) ?

  • 3.1. Upon entering the building are the entrance's clean of debris, no stock piles of materials and well lit ?

  • 3.2. Are all corridors well lit and clean of debris ?

  • 3.3. Are all trades using task lighting as needed ?

  • 3.4. Do you have fire extinguisher's within 75 feet of all exits ?

  • 3.5. Are all fire extinguisher's inspected, tagged and up to date ?

  • 3.6. Are all power cords in good condition ? ( correct gage, no frays, ground ear in place, etc ) ?

  • 3.7. If permanent building power is being used all trades are using GFCI protection ?

  • 3.8. Are all ladders in good working order? ( no bent/broken rungs, no missing rivets etc ) ?

  • 3.9. Are ladders being used correctly ? ( not standing on top two rungs, fully opened, and not leaning against walls ) ?

  • 3.10. Are extension ladders being used correctly ? ( extended 3 feet above roof/deck, 1-4 slope, cleat at the bottom, tied off at the top etc ) ?

  • 3.11. Are you or subcontractor's using scaffolding, is there a competent person on site ?

  • 3.12. Is the scaffold set up correctly ? ( all pins installed, fully planked, rails above 6 feet etc ) ?

  • 3.13. Are safety tags being used on the scaffold daily ? ( in/out of service ) ?

  • 3.14. General house keeping ?

  • 4.10. Do you have sufficient berms/channels/drainage away from all structures ?

  • 4.11. Per the SWMP are you continually cleaning inlets to avoid backup and flooding ?
