Door Locks & Openings

  • Do all doors open, close and latch properly?

  • Do all locks operate smoothly, keys insert and remove without binding?

  • Are all closers operating properly?

  • Are all thresholds secured and not causing trip or equipment flow hazards?

  • Do all roll-up doors open and close properly?

  • Is all door trim present and securely attached?

Lighting (interior & exterior)

  • Do all lights and fixtures operate properly?

  • Are all bulbs fully lit and not flickering or out in each light fixture?

  • Are all light covers closed properly?

  • Are all exterior signs operating properly?

Walls & Corners

  • Are walls free of significant damage?

  • Are any studs or concrete block exposed behind drywall?

  • Are exposed corners properly protected?

  • Are all baseboards and cove base properly attached?

Windows

  • Are all windows in place and free of cracks, chips?

  • Are all windows clean and able to be seen through from both sides?

Plumbing

  • Do all toilets/urinals flush properly and turn off completely?

  • Do all faucets dispense water and turn off completly?

  • <br>Are any drain lines leaking under sinks or from the floor?

  • Are there any drain stoppages or clogs?

  • Do any pipes leak under counters, sinks or overhead?

Electrical

  • Do all switches work properly?

  • Are all outlets in place and covered with an intact switch plate?

  • Is all wiring intact and not frayed or showing metal?

  • Are any breakers tripped or unable to be reset?

HVAC (Heating, Venting & Air Conditioning)

  • Is the HVAC system maintaining the set temperature?

  • Is the thermostat set to "auto" for fan and 72 degrees for cooling /68 degrees for heating?

  • Are the air supply vents clean?

  • Are all ceiling tiles in place and not damaged?

  • Is any daylight visible from overhead areas without tile or drywall?
