Main Inspection

1) General walk around

  • 1.1) _ Take a general walk around, look & check.

2) Leaks (oil, fuel, hydraulics, water)

  • 2.1) _ Engine & Oil - check for leaks & levels.

  • 2.2) _ Fuel lines - check for leaks.

  • 2.3) _ Brake lines/reservoirs - check for leaks & levels.

  • 2.4) _ Check fork sliders for excess oil, leaks, pitting & seal damage.

3) Exhaust System

  • 3.1) Check exhaust system for integrity.

4) Wheels & Tyres

  • 4.1) _ Wheels - inspect for damage.

  • 4.2) _ Tyre wear & Tyre damage - check

  • 4.3) _ Tyre pressures - check/adjust (Front 2.5 bar - Rear 2.9 bar).

5) Electrical

  • 5.1) _ All lights, instruments & electrical systems - check operation.

6) Steering & Suspension

  • 6.1) _ Steering - check for free operation.

  • 6.2) _ Forks - check for leaks/smooth operation.

7) Brakes

  • 7.1) _ Brakes - check correct operation/pressure front and rear.

  • 7.2) _ Brake pads - check wear levels.

  • 7.3) _ Brake calipers - check for fluid leaks & seized pistons.

8) Drive Belt

  • 8.1) _ Drive belt - check wear & tension.

9) Fastenings

  • 9.1) _ Nuts, bolts & fastenings - inspect.

  • 9.2) _ Side stand - check operation.

  • 9.3) _ Check windscreen fastenings.
