POSITION

  • Is the unit in an appropriate position?

  • Is the unit secured back to the wall by the correct mounting fixtures?

  • Is the unit sitting on a concrete base , minimum 50mm off the ground?

  • Is the unit sitting level?

PIPEWORK

  • Are all connections water tight with no leaks?

  • Is there a Tempering Valve fitted?

  • Is there an Isolating Valve fitted?

  • Is there a Pressure Relief Valve fitted?

  • Is there a drain off tube fitted to the Pressure Relief valve and is it the correct length and facing away and down from the unit ?

  • Are ALL Hot Water Pipes fully lagged with black insulating material with no gaps at ends of PIPEWORK or fittings?

  • Is the PIPEWORK correctly secured with the correct size saddles?

  • Overall is the PIPEWORK neat and tidy with nice bends close to the unit?

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

  • Is all the incoming supply enclosed in conduit?

  • Is the conduit in good condition?

  • Is the conduit correctly saddled to the wall and Hot Water Unit?

  • Does the conduit have a gland fitting at the electrical inlet of the unit?

GAS SUPPLY

  • Does the gas supply have an Isolation tap fitted?

  • Is the gas supply leak free?

GENERAL.

  • Are all entry points into the walls or eaves sealed off with silicone?

OPERATION OF UNIT.

  • What is the Temperature of the Tempered water checked at a tap inside the premises? Indicate on scale above.

  • Does the tenant understand the correct operation of the unit?

COMPLETION

  • Was the old unit and any other rubbish removed from site?

  • Was the area left clean and tidy?

  • Are there any RECTIFICATIONS required to bring this unit into compliance?
