  • 1. Review the onsite operations and identify the associated pre-project commencement issues that may need to be addressed.
    2. Identify if further action is needed to mitigate the issue prior to project commencement on site.
    3. Enter in notes section a description of the required action and the date task is completed.

Project Pre-Commencement Issue

  • Council has been notified of the project commencement date on site as required by the local government act/ DA approval,

  • Our client and/or user groups have been advised of impending works and WHS site protocols. (eg hi-vis)

  • All relevant local council approvals and permits have been obtained and checked prior to commencing the works

  • The construction program HK.FM-67 has been prepared and issued to site and trade contractors as well as the client.

  • The WHS Management Plan HK.FM-66 has been approved and implementation arrangements are in place

  • Site inductions have been reviewed and any site specific items added ready for construction.

  • Site wellbeing brochures/posters are prepared and available for display in the site sheds/amenities.

  • An Initial Environmental assessment has been conducted and if required, a Project Initial Environmental Review Checklist HK.FM-88 with all issues and control plans in place, completed, and an Environmental Management Plan HK.FM-104 issued.

  • HK policies are prepared and available for display in the site shed/amenities

  • All current construction documents eg. Detailed technical specs, drawings or references etc. are available and the Master Document Register HK.FM-40 has been prepared for site.o

  • Are sub-contractor agreements and purchase orders in place and available for the Site Manager to access in Dropbox<br>

  • An Inspection and Test Plan has been established and documented using the inspection and test plan HK.FM-63 and the Site Manager briefed on its requirements.

  • Site visit has occurred and any major risk items have been identified using the Site WHS Major Risk Register HK.FM-95

  • Hazardous Chemical Register, First Aid Register, Emergency Contact Register prepared and ready for implementation.

  • Is there any existing asbestos building Register and a copy obtained for the site or access provided for the Site Manager to review?

  • Security access if needed, is in place and has been provided to relevant contractors.

  • Site Signage on the Project board has been established.

  • Shoring or underpinning required to adjacent buildings has been considered and any requirements implemented.

  • Overhead powerlines have been identified and an action plan put in place in our WHS Management Plan to address working around them.

  • Dial before you dig strategy has been considered and implemented

  • Traffic Management Plan has been reviewed and implemented.

  • Close Out Signature .
