Final Inspection Checklist for Snub-Rites

  • Are bushings welded in fingers?

  • Sticker: Are they installed correctly?

  • Is relief adjustment screw cut off?

  • Is unit "EXPORTED PACKAGED" with a pallet that has lumber stamped with heat treated / kiln dried?

  • I.D. Plates: Are they marked according to job acknowledgement, including country code?

  • Is prep and paint up to acceptable quality standards?

  • Is door side properly marked with stencil and was yellow paint used?

  • Are test plugs removed from manifold?

  • Is there verification that testing has been performed?

  • Has the work scope work sheet been signed off?

  • Has parts list from warehouse / receiving area been added to job pouch?

  • Have final photos been taken?

  • Has unit been properly secured on a pallet, to prevent movement during shipment?

  • If unit has a cast arm is a new pin shipped with the snubber?

  • Has job number and country code been stamped in component?

  • Has a clear coat been applied to nameplate and pin bores (rust prevention)?
