Water Supply

  • Is the hot water supply inadequate?

  • Is the cold water supply inadequate?

  • Are there any lead water pipes present?

Other Hazards

  • Are there any suspected Asbestos Containing Materials present?

  • Are there any trip hazards or risk of collisions?

  • Is the lighting provision inadequate?

Capacity

  • Is there insufficient storage? (See tables overleaf)

  • Is the worktop insufficient? (1200mm for 1-2 beds, 1600mm for 3-5)

  • Are there insufficient sockets? (10 is optimal where possible)

Surveyor's Recommendations

  • What work is required to bring the kitchen up to a Decent Standard? i.e if you have ticked "Yes" in any of the boxes above, what work is required to rectify the problem?
