Turn off all 3 chemicals;

  • Sodium hypochlorite in chemical store

  • CO 2 in chemical store

  • PAC in filter room

Turn Pool Return Valve PRV at bottom of ladder below large pool

  • Pull handle outwards and then turn upwards to closed position

Close the skimmers valve

  • Turn the red valve to the closed position

Turn off both Heating valves

  • V12 and V11 red valves to closed position

All three filters must be back washed in turn one by one not together

Filter A Backwash

  • Filter A; Close A1; close A3 and open A2

  • Turn on scourer then open A5 and leave for 2 minutes

  • Close A5 then turn off scourer

  • Open A3 and run until clean (approx 5 mins)

  • Simultaneously close A2 and open A1

  • Bleed air from the filters by opening A4 until water flows down looking glass

Filter B Backwash

  • Filter B; Close B1; close B3 and open B2

  • Turn on scourer then open B5 and leave for 2 minutes

  • Close B5 then turn off scourer

  • Open B3 and run until clean (approx 5 mins)

  • Bleed air from the filters by opening B4 until water flows down looking glass

  • Simultaneously close B2 and open B1

Filter C Backwash

  • Filter C; Close C1; close C3 and open C2

  • Turn on scourer then open C5 and leave for 2 minutes

  • Close C5 then turn off scourer

  • Open C3 and run until clean (approx 5 mins)

  • Simultaneously close C2 and open C1

  • Bleed air from the filters by opening C4 until water flows down looking glass

Turn on make up water (BLUE Handled top up valve next to top of steps below pool)

Turn both heating valves back on

  • Turn red valves V11 and V12 to the OPEN position

Turn Pool Return Valve PRV at bottom of ladder below large pool

  • Pull handle outwards and then turn downwards to marked position between the two black marks

Turn chemicals back on

  • PAC

  • Hypo

  • CO2

Turn off TOP UP when water level is back above trough

Turn Skimmers valve back to the open position
