Moving safely

  • Decant teams are planning processing of loads and preparing area prior to deliveries

  • Task rotation is implemented for team to alternate posture, tasks and take required breaks

  • Team members are using techniques as per moving safely training (e.g. planning, bending with bottom out, wings in, power grip, managing loads)

  • Team members are not overstacking cages and taking care when moving stock from back of house to selling floor

iAuditor Take 5 / hazard / near miss reports

  • Site management are currently using iAuditor for Take 5 inspections for key tasks as required (e.g. decant, mannequin changeover, fixture modification / movement)

  • Site management are using iAuditor to capture hazard and near miss reports

  • Team members are aware to report hazards and near miss incidents to management to capture in iAuditor

Housekeeping

  • Site has planned for additional volume and storage standards are being maintained (e.g. fire exits kept clear, space available for incoming loads)

  • Selling floor standards are being maintained with hazards being managed (e.g. stock display standards, slip / trip hazards, empty apparel arms / display pegs)

  • Decant area housekeeping standards are being maintained

Communication and reporting

  • Safety is first agenda items for all site huddle with site using official huddle sheet as guidance (safety call out, incidents, daily focus)

  • Conduct huddle on 26th November in relation to stop and take 5 for safety and for teams to access WorkJam team news post and state managers safety message

  • Site management has full knowledge of first 15 minutes, incident reporting and supported duties plan process (note: If no please reach out to P&C Business Partner)

  • Team members have been instructed to inform management of any hazards, near miss incidents, injuries as soon as they occur

  • Other action items
  • Include observation and capture action if required
