Emergency Procedures:

  • In the event of failure of control measures, Emergency services must be called (999) in the first instance.
    This should not be delayed by any means especially where safety harness failure has occurred and operative is in a state of suspension.
    Operatives must ensure they are familiar with site address details
    Supervisor must be called after emergency services.
    Only where possible assist in rescue, do not risk further danger.
    In event of accident that needs treatment, call appointed person immediately, where possible drive casualty to ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY or call ambulance.
