Control Measures

Harness where appliciable

Secure ladder

Cease work on roof when wet

Lift with knees, take rest if required

Ensure power tools are in safe working order

Keep lookout / communicate with operator / fence off if required

Wear hat, sunscreen and sunglasses
Procedure
-
1. Install solar rails – 90 hold down brackets
2. Install all earth bonds
3. Run cable through roof
4. Connect isolator on roof / install inverters
5. Lift panel onto roof and bolt to rails
6. Repeat step 5 until all panels are installed
7. Connect panels to inverters
8. Connect cable to switchboard
9. Test panels / isolating switch
10. Mark switchboards / isolator with required stickers
11. Collect info for meters / paperwork
12. Pack up site
13. Clean up
14. Complete paperwork – EWR and CEC forms
15. Solar paperwork as required by office
