Water supply

  • If yes – is there a valid need for this i.e. fire alarm/sprinkler to be active.

  • If water supply active, please confirm you have flushed all water outlets (e.g taps, toilets)

Electrical services

  • Has the electrical supply been turned off?

  • Is the power supply necessary for inspection, security or fire protection?

  • If there is evidence of water ingress/flooding are there any vulnerable electrical installations/switches and sockets?

Gas services

  • Is the gas supply isolated?

  • If yes – is there a valid need for this? (e.g. boilers need to be on for frost protection or servicing adjacent buildings.

  • Is there any evidence of gas leakage?

  • Has there been any vandalism or damage to gas pipes or equipment?

Fire Services

  • Is the fire panel fault free?

  • Confirm undertaken a call point test successfully (notify control room prior to testing)

  • Was the test received by control room?

Drainage

  • Is there any evidence of internal drainage failure?
