Maintenance:

  • Is the property free from maintenance issues?

  • Are all internal lights working?

  • Are all fire extinguishers present, in date and have the correct signage?

  • Are call points in good condition?

  • Do all disabled alarms work? Including disabled toilets and refuge points.

  • Are stair handrails and treads in good condition?

  • Are door closers functional?

  • Does the lift alarm sound?

  • Are plant rooms tidy and free of leaks or alarms?

  • Is internal decoration in a good condition? (Including ceiling tiles).

  • Is the entrance/exit doors to site in good condition and functional?

  • Is the property at a comfortable temperature?

  • Is the property free from odours?

  • Is good housekeeping demonstrated, with no trip hazards?

Tenants:

  • Have tenant representatives been visited? List any complaints and/or plaudits?

  • Is all tenant paperwork correct and held on file?

  • Have the tenant inspections been completed according to the schedule?
