Mobile Generation Plant Maintenance Schedule - duplicate

1. Visually inspect alternator windings

2. Check engine wiring loom for damage

3. Check alternator terminals for loose connections

4. Inspect A.V.R and connections

5. Check and tighten all engine terminal box connections

6. Check cable reeler motor mounts

7. Check oil level OK

8. Check 2 x safety signs

9. Check spare engine oil

10. Check battery holder, posts and clamps, check for corrosion and tightness

11. Check starter motor, solenoid, Redarc, battery isolator connections, operation and inspect for damage and corrosion

12. Check bund sump levels and the area drain is closed

13. Inspect engine mounts for damage

14. Check radiator V belts for damage / tension

15. Check radiator for leaks / damage

16. Check coolant level

17. Check for spare coolant

18. Check fire extinguisher. Secured, pressure OK and within 6 months of last test

19. Run generator and check for leaks

20. Inspect controls integrity

21. Inspect all wiring for loose terminations and connections

22. Check meters

23. Carry out lamp test, replace with L.E.D only

24. Carry out 6 monthly RCD Test and record results on panel sticker

25. Check main Generator C/B. If safe test Close / Open operation

26. Check sync buzzer for operation

27. Check CAN bus terminations and caps

28. Check switches

29. Check MEN connection panel

30. Test output voltages

31. Check batteries charge / float voltages with engine running

32. Check batteries charge / float voltages with engine off (solar power)

33. Inspect Powerlock panel source or lug connectors

34. Inspect labelling and replace any discrepancies or missing labels

35. Clean inside of panels (vacuum and fine brush)

36. Clean outside and top of panels

37. Check all labels and signage for correct and good condition

38. Check operation of internal LTS

39. Check operation of external LTS

40. Check canopy door locks

41. Check solar panel condition and mounting on canopy roof

42. Check air attenuator mounting bolts are secure

43. Check Powerlock connections or lug connections on cable for excessive wear and damage

44. Check cable for damage. Repair as required

45. Check 1 x straps

46. Check cable socks. Replace as required

47. Check condition of sync lead and clamp

48. Check 1 x set buss bar clamps (4 heads)

49. Check 1 x set cable, Powerlock to lug for 300kVA

50. Check 1 x Earth Clamp

51. Check 2 x sets of cable, Powerlock to lug for 500kVA

52. Check 8 x overhead sticks for 500kVA

53. Check 4 x overhead sticks for 300kVA

54. Earthing and connection fittings - continuity between Earth bar and chassis

55. Earthing and connection fittings - continuity between earth & neutral Powerlocks / cable termination points

56. Room and warning system light

57. Lubricate door locks / hinges

58. Fluid bund - Area empty and drain closed

59. Clean generator as required

60. Operation manual - Legible and stored with the generator

61. Log Book - Stored with generator and filled in

62. Fuel card - Caltex and BP cards are present and in date

Check coolant level protection switch is operational
