Entrance

  • PPE are available, placed or stored at the designated location

  • Walls / Windows and Ceilings are in good state of repair with no damage, without peeling paint, clean, no mould detected

  • Refrigeration Fans are clean, free of damage, functioning, no mould detected

  • Lights are in good condition and are shielded, functioning and bright (> 600 lux is recommended in production)

  • Overhead (piping, fans, door frames etc.) over production or storage zones are free of dust accumulation, condensation water removed timely, no mould detected

  • Floors / Platfrom are properly sealed, no cracked or damaged, pooling water removed timely with reasonable clean condition

  • Drains are no block, no back flow, waste removed timely

Personnel Behaviours

  • Everyone conducts hand washing and sanitising, wearing the correct PPE and not wearing unauthorized jewellery prior to entering production

  • No eating, No smoking, No drinking, No Food, No chewing gum and No person items in production area

  • All wounds or injuries are adequately protected with blue bandage

  • Operators are wearing gloves when handling products, gloves changed after touch any non-product contact surface, every break and when glove damaged

  • Use Permitted Tools only in production

  • Product Package, WIP, Finished Goods, clean Crates, Product Contact Equipment Parts, Water Hoses and Product Contact Surface Cleaning Tools are kept off floor/platform or any unclean surface by operators

  • QC inspection and record are completed and signed timely, CCP fails reported to QA immediately, Correction of OOS is recorded, Current version of Check sheet is used

  • Finished Product package and product container are not used for alternative uses

  • Colour Coding System is followed, no mis-usage of different colour crates and cleaning tools, inspection before using, return to proper designation storage location after using

Equipment

  • Fixed Equipment and Mobile Equipment are in good state of repair, clean, no leaking, no rust, no scratching, no damaged present and no missing screws, nuts, or bolts

  • Product and washing water direct contact surface of the Equipment are made by food grade material, with smooth sealing, flat and easy to clean, free of the scratching, grinding or product residue trapping risks

  • Crate Washing Machine is in good state of repair, functioning, no waste build-up, washing water temperature is at least 70C

  • Hose Reels, Cleaning Hoses and Airlines are no damaged and no leaking, functioning, off floor hock or holder is setup at use point

  • Pallets are in good state, damaged pallet is removed from production or storage area in time manner

  • Permitted Tools are in good condition, toolbox is inspected daily, missing tool or broken tool is followed up and recoreded

  • QC Test Kits, Temperature Meters, MD STD Pieces and STD mass of scale are with good condition, suitable of test purposes

  • Use food grade lubricant only, no excessive grease detected on the equipment

  • No glass or brittle material allowed in production areas, no brittle material broken detected

  • No temporary repairs on equipment

  • Tools used for cleaning are in good condition, no damaged, suitable to use and free product contamination risk

  • Standby Equipment, Spare Parts and Production Utensils are clean and stored seperated to prevent away from cross-contamination risk, covered as reqruied

  • Housing panels of Equipment and Areas under Equipment are clean, no scales built-up or product residue on back side of belts, the rollers of belts etc

  • Top surface of scales and working benches are clean, in good state of repair, suitable for production operation, sanitized when required

  • The plastic pallet cons and crates are no damaged, cleaned and sanitized prior to using

  • Stairs used in production is in good state of repair and clean

  • No Mould is detected on or under any equipment, tools, utensils, working batch, chairs, platform and stairs etc.

Line Cleanrance & Storage

  • Line clearance and changeover are conducted properly, no last batch product and packaging left at the production line

  • Products, WIP or Packaging with Quality or Food Safety concerned are isolated and labelled properly

  • Items not related to production are not stored on site

  • The organic products/items are stored in a defined location, separated from conventional products

  • Storage Rack and Storage Room are clean and neat, containers or itmes are clean, labelled and stored properly

  • Work stations and QC stations are neat, with no clutter, unecessay items

  • Chemicals used for QC testing, Process Aid and Cleaning are within shelflife, proper labelled, spare drums are chained, SDS accessible by user

  • Part opened or used package and WIP are labelled with item description and batch information

  • There is no overflow in the bin or container for waste collection

  • Labels are collected or kept at designated location prevent from lost or contamination to product

Pest Control

  • Pest Control Measures (insect lights, bait stations etc) are in good condition at fixed location matching to Pest Map and functioning

  • No abnormal pest or insect activity detected
