  • Merchandise display is well presented - sharp-looking, dust-free, & shirts displayed on a hanger sorted by size.

  • Lobby seating is highly durable and new looking with only minor scratches.

  • Photo wall looks brand new - free of any paint chips or dirt.

  • Lobby TVs are on and working properly, with proper content displayed.

  • Mounted items such as QR codes, promo signs, or window displays are leveled and sharp looking - no tape showing

HALLWAYS & BRIEFING ROOMS

  • Walls and baseboards are free of scuff marks and dirt. Touch up paint is done properly.

  • Floors are clean to the best of their ability.

  • Lockers cannot be knocked over by guests, due to its sturdiness or being wall mounted. All locker cubbies lock properly, labels are not peeling, and locker keys hang on a lanyard or bracelet.

  • Entrance doors are scuff free, dirt free, and any decals are in good condition.

  • Briefing TVs have no wires exposed and there's a designated spot for the remote.

  • Red button is in good condition and sound with lights works properly

FRONT DESK

  • The front desk counter is tidy, clean, and free of clutter - cell phones, food, personal employee items should not be visible

  • Drawers are organized (Each item has a specific place to live)

  • All printed collateral is in stock? (brochures, business cards, stickers, etc.)

  • Backstock merchandise: All shirts are organized by style, color, and size

  • The front desk binder is up to date: logins, FD training specifics, package information, 1-pager & overall easy to find answers to FAQ questions

  • Opening / Closing tasks are completed daily, signed off by a team member, and held accountable if not.

  • The cash drawer is counted for every opening/closing shift. There is a spreadsheet log with no missing entries for the past month.

  • FD computer folders and google drive files are well organized and easy to locate - (package info, invoices, print outs, etc.)

  • Every email response has a greeting and closing. The language used is professional, accommodating, and with no misspellings.

  • Incoming guest emails are responded to within 24 hours

  • Are phones working properly, and is voicemail set up? Test 1 calls & 1 voicemail. Ask team how well the phone systems work.

  • Phone calls are answered within 3 rings, to the best of the team's ability.

  • BookNow card reader is working properly (pass if any issues are communicated with AM prior to the audit).

EPISODE HEALTH

BEHIND THE SCENES

Prop Closet & Storage

  • Overall organization and cleanliness. Everything has a place; tools are put back and not strewn throughout the closet. Unnecessary items are discarded.

  • A storage container is designated for each episode that includes backup props and supplies. Seasonal decor is packed, labeled, and stored in a specific section

  • There is at least 1 backup of every type of lock; organized and easy to find.

  • Paint buckets and spray paints are labeled with color/episode and paintbrushes are well maintained

  • Cleaning assets - Broom, mop, vacuum are in good condition

  • Water heater / electrical box complies with fire code - no supplies near or on top

Bathroom

  • Toilet is clean/stain-free, mirror is spotless, sink is spotless, walls are clean, and smells decent

  • Paper products, soap, & cleaning supplies are in stock/organized

  • Drinking fountains are working properly and clean, to the best of the location's ability.

Maintenance

  • There is a designated work station for repairs, maintenance, and DT training

  • Does this location have proper safety equipment? (safety glasses, work gloves, & respirator)

  • Drill bit boxes are well-organized and only missing a few bits-- any bits needed for common repairs are in stock and easy to locate.

  • Loose hardware and supplies are organized and stored in a specific place

  • HVAC maintenance is performed quarterly (confirmed through verifying the most recent HVAC receipt)

  • Fire extinguishers are not expired and mounted where they should be

CONTROL ROOM

  • Hardware and assets are in good condition - desks, monitors, headphones, chairs, etc.

  • Walls are scuff-free and any holes are patched correctly

  • Behind the CR desks and PC towers are dusted and well-maintained

  • CR wires and cables are organized, untangled, and tucked away to the best of its ability

  • I escaped signs are new looking with minimal scratches

  • Opening/closing duties are signed off daily and held accountable if not.

  • Episode puzzle flows and reset sheets are laminated and 100% accurate

  • Daily to do board is filled out with store objectives, reminders, and tasks to complete during downtime

  • CR has an organized inventory box for backup keys and any missing key is reported through a form or slack channel

  • General supplies that fall under the same genre or family are organized together and stored in specific spot (iescaped stickers, batteries, clue buttons, aux cords, office supplies)

  • Computer stations have suggested room-by-room escape times and post-episode reminder either on the monitor itself or posted above the desk.

  • Proper labor law posters are mounted and up to date.

Break Room or Control Room Food Area

  • Cabinets and drawers are organized and dust free

  • Sink, Microwave, fridge, oven, coffee maker are clean and in good condition

  • First Aid box lives in a designated location that is easy to access; it's properly supplied (or located in the control room)

  • Suggestion box is visible and accessible for employees to use

GM OFFICE

  • Manager's office and desk area has a clean/organized workspace and is presentable for meetings
