Guidance: Site Management must use this Permit to Dig when carrying out Machine Excavations in an environment where underground services may be present which could give rise to fire, explosions and electrocutions etc. A copy of this document should be used as a working document on site and kept on site for the duration of this project in the site safety file. Support documentation is contained in Part two of the Policy for further guidance.
